Alright so -- I'm in a game that expects good character applications for fandom characters. It wants you to really explore the characters personality, and write something that reflects that you have a good understanding of the character. what exactly is a mary sue? I'm sorry. I looked around but I don't "get it"  I mean a Mary Sue is a character someone makes up for a fanfic? Do people not understand what a fanfic is? I put up an ad on rp_me looking for partners to play original characters in a fantasy-like setting. I stated that I'm not familiar with modern settings. I never stated that I wouldn't play them, but it's just not something I'm used to. Then, RL hit and unexpectedly at that. I just now got this IM.
